I always liked Advancedshipping, but sometimes, I have a feeling that noone of the Shippings will come true, 'cuz, it's a kids show .
Well, anyways, I'm here to talk about Ash X May, or in other words, Advancedshipping (Gosh, I use that word, ALOT).
If I remember right, I was once a Pokeshipper too, but after some time, I switched teams, I just personally think that Ash and May is cuter.
Since it's a neutral zone, I cannot abuse other shipping, so I'll just say:
Contestshipping is just not my style, sure, Drew LOVES May, but what does May like?
Anyways, there wasn't actually much Advancedshipping moments in the episodes, but still, there is one HUGE moment, the Advanced seasons episode 357 (The Christmas special one), it was one of the biggest Advancedshipping moments, and if I heard right, there was one with Ash and Misty too, well, I think this year, Pearlshipping will score, we'll see.

I'm glad you decided to post here to let us know what you think.
First of all, I respect everyone's opinion.
And there are things you wrote I must agree with.
For example, I have the same feeling about shipping not coming true cause it's a kids show (and probably the writers think that kids would be shocked forever to see two characters showing some romance )

On the other hand, I'm a pokeshipper (and I guess I'm also a contestshipper, thoug I'm not really fond on it), so there's something I can't agree with. I think Ash with Misty is cuter, but this is my opinion, so I'll just say that I think pokeshipping is -or was- more likely to happen because it had a huge number of "hints", and 'cause there wasn't another character to pair one of them with - like there's Drew for May.


I think she likes Drew too. She blushed around him (I can't remember her blushing around Ash), and they shared some romantic moments. The episode in which May decided to travel to Johto, at the end of Battle Frontier, looked really contestshippy to me.


Can't remember that episode ^^' could you please tell me what happens in the AdvanceShipping moment?

Oh, and I absolutely don't want to sound harsh, if it seems so it's just that my English isn't that good >.< sorry.

In that episode, it was Christmas, it was only aired in Japan 1 time, and it was deleted off the internet, so this info is rare, I'll just try to make everything short.
Anyways:
I don't remember, but it was when Ash finnaly kissed May, it was night or something like that, and Ash got kissed by another girl, I think it was Annabelle, or I don't remember, and May saw it, she ran out of the
house, crying, and Ash along wih her, when he found her, he told that he didn't want to kiss that girl, he wanted to kiss her, then blah, blah, blah, they leaned and kissed, after that, everybody was in a campfire, and if I'm right, the episode ended of May falling quick asleep on Ash's shoulder.
The episode was called "Kiss under the mistele-tle-e-Um whatever, you get the point

There was another episode with Ash and Misty too, with Jessy and James, anyways, if you want, I can post that too.

Oh I see what you're talking about now. I heard about that episode, but... it never really exist. It's only a legend (and I'm not saying this because I'm a pokeshipper - the pokeshippy one is a legend too); if it aired in Japan, even 1 time only, there would be some screenshots, and there aren't.
(Plus, the one with Ash and Misty was supposed to be called "Kiss under the mistletoe" too, so now to me it looks like someone took that legend and adapted it to AdvanceShipping, and they both look more fake to me ò.ò)

I dunno, they can be found by watching some Advancedshipping vids on Youtube, or by just by surfing the internet
